Dec 29, 2018 · About 3 weeks ago i setup a R7800 (Netgear) with OpenWRT as a wireless accesspoint. 3 wifi networks 1 for LAN 1 for IoT and 1 for guests with seperated vlans. This all worked great and then i left on a holiday. I came back an noticed there was no guests network anymore. My OpenWRT router is currently behind a firewall (another router), and I want computers connected to the upstream router to be able to access the OpenWRT web admin interface. OpenWrt Project: LuCI Web Interface

May 11, 2010 · I've done quite a few things with OpenWRT now and really like it compared to DD-WRT, because it doesn't come shipped with a load of things I don't need. However, I've always had to resort back to the console because of bugs and problems with the LuCI web interface and I've decided I would like to remove the GUI and web server completely. LuCI was founded in March 2008 as "FFLuCI" as part of the efforts to create a port of the Freifunk-Firmware from OpenWrt Whiterussian to Kamikaze. The initial reason for this project was the absence of a free, clean, extensible and easily maintainable web user interface for embedded devices.

OpenWRT is an active and vibrant home firewall project that was born on the Linksys WRT54G line of home routers. It has grown and expanded to support an amazing array of old and new hardware alike. The list of compatible hardware is large enough to require its own index.. With the recent interest in the Raspberry Pi there is of course is an OpenWRT build for it as well.

I just upgraded my OpenWrt router from Attitude Adjustment (12.09) to Barrier Breaker (14.07) on my TP-Link WDR3600. There are many methods of doing this, I chose the GUI way in the web interface LuCi. I downloaded the new firmware, uploaded it via LuCi, it flashed successfully and rebooted.
